The Coral-Balmoral Memorial web site aims to provide a central location to tell the story of the Battle of Coral-Balmoral, and the Battle’s Victoria Cross for Australia recipient, Gundagai born and raised Private Richard Norden VC.

Coral-Balmoral was the largest and most protracted battle fought during the Vietnam War, yet very little is known about this battle.

 

This site records for posterity the experiences of the veterans in the Battle of Coral-Balmoral. It features audio-visual oral histories, story telling videos, photographs, maps and documents. It brings the diverse perspectives of veterans into the public arena, ensuring they are recognised as an integral and important part of Australia’s military and social history.
